Leigh shares his thoughts with us on…

Favourite event on the shooting calendar

The Nationals are my favourite event on the shooting calendar as there are the BEST shooters in Australia to compete against.

Best advice

The best advice in my career I have received is to always think positively, always have fun and ensure to enjoy a day of shooting.

3 pro-tips

  1. Positive thinking.
  2. Practise techniques frequently at training to ensure to deliver in competition.
  3. Have a clear understanding on each station of where each target will be, know where your gun start position is and have correct body/feet placement on each station.

Leigh’s accessories and ammo

RE Ranger Shooting Glasses

I would definitely rate 10 out of 10 for RE Ranger shooting glasses!  I like the light weight comfortable frames and the fact they don’t feel like you are even wearing them.

From my experience, the RE Rangers are a lot lighter and easier to adjust than other shooting glasses.

Spartan Shotshells

I am currently shooting Spartan 12 GA ammunition 1200 FPS, 9 shot. They are a top of the range quality shell and I have never had any problems with them.
